          Description
          The path that Daum carved for crystal often came hand-in-hand with complex techniques such as acid etchings, enameling and engravings, as well as ornamental motifs and handles. Perhaps its most technical innovation, however, was the pâte-de-cristal technique – in this ancient Egyptian method of casting, crystal is crushed into a paste which is then packed into a refractory mold and fused in a kiln to obtain exceptional textures. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
